One of the beautiful things about social media is the inspirations that might come on any random day, and not even from people we know. This morning, a post from a human I don't know (Jim Hankins) came across my Facebook feed. Here's what the larger quilt looks like:
I might have scrolled on by, if I hadn't read the poster's description of each block as little houses made of scraps, one for each day of the year. And perhaps more than houses--when I look, I'm also seeing trees. Here's a close up:
